VHM is the only company to have designed a two-piece cylinder head for the most current two-stroke engines in motorcross and road racing. With the help and experience gained in two-stroke Moto Gp Racing, VHM has developed products that increase horsepower at cooler temperatures.
The combustion chamber is very easy to change. This makes it very easy to adjust the combustion ratio to different circuits and fuels that are used. These cylinders heads do not require the strict use of high octane race fuels.
During intensive tests, on the racetrack as on the VHM testbench, the cylinder head showed a better temperature development in the cylinder head.
An other advantage of the material is its resistance to detonation. VHM inserts are also manufacturered from the same high-quality aluminum that the VHM head is made from. With a VHM head you also have the option of running an SX insert that is designed strictly for supercross use or an MX insert that is designed for the demands of all outdoor motocross tracks.
