Asterisk once again brings together revolutionary design
concepts to create the most technologically-advanced Knee Protection System-
this time for small knees of the next generation of younger athletes.
The GERM features cuff adjustability to accomodate growth, a superior
fastening system, rigid frame, plus full coverge knee cup.
Tech Features:
A.N.I Frame.
• Anatomically correct design.
• Glass fill nylon 6 injected composite.
• Rigid and lightweight, impact distributing structure.
Symmetri-Glide Hinge
• Tracks the natural "rolling gliding" motion of the knee joint.
• Accurate track hole pattern.
• Adjustable ext. regulator from 0° to 40°.
D.A.U. Cuff
• Dual Adjustment accommodates leg growth.
• Uniform rigid lateral support.
Tele-Tri Patella Cup
• Telescoping Three piece design.
• High impact nylon 6 material.
• Full range of motion covberage of the knee cap.
• Thermo-formed EV50 shock absorbent foam padding.
Uni-Quad Fastener
• One unit, Four adjustmment zones.
• Eliminates brace slippage.
• Distributes pressure evely to the back of the leg.
• Superior security to strapping.
Anti-Rotation Tether
• Links the brace to the boot, making them as one.
• Transfers forces of a lower leg rotation and disperses them into the upper
D.A.U. cuff.
• Adjustable to suit each individual.
Quick Release Tabs
• Four double layer pull tabs for easy removal.
• Low profile.
Dual Stage Padding:
• Neoprene lined frame for greater comfort.
• Comes in two thicknesses to accommodate leg growth.
• Two sizes of joint pads for individual adjustment.
Water Resistant
• Non-corrosive metals.
• Non-corrosive composites.
• Hand washable soft materials.
Undersleeves
• Conically tapered cut to match the legs' natural contour.
• Ventilated mesh promotes air flow.
• Reduces heat build up by wicking moisture away from skin.
• Flat stitched quad seam for a smooth, durable finish.
• Durable fold-over elastic band.
Sizing:
To ensure proper fit, circumference measurements should be taken directly on
the skin with the leg straightened, using a soft tape measure. (If a soft
tape measure is not available, a piece of string or yarn may be used to
calibrate the leg's diameter, then measured against a hard tape measure.)
