Revalving
Revalving can be defined as the complete removal, reposition,
or replacement of shims in the valve stacks of the compression and rebound
pistons of a cartridge fork or rear shock. Most of the time we
replace stock fork and shock springs with our upgraded Eibach
springs. Stock valving on bikes is set-up for riders of avg. weight,
height, and riding ability, revalving your suspension will customize your
bike to match your suspension needs. We also offer follow-up support
for all riders who have had their suspension revalved by us.
Front Fork Revalving....$175.00* (most bikes)
Rear Shock Revalving....$175.00* (most bikes)
*(Prices do not include fork/shock oil or cost of
springs).
Rebuilding
Rebuilding can be defined as the
complete breakdown and inspection of the suspension components.
Rebuilding the suspension doesn't involve actually modifying any parts within the
suspension assembly, only the removal and replacing of fork oil, fork seals, dust seals, and fork bushings.
The remaining components are inspected for damage and wear and usually
cleaned or replaced. Once complete with the assembly the suspension
technician will make some external adjustments to the dampening, rebound, and
suspension sag as well as grease the shock bearing and inspect the seals.
Depending on the rider a suspension technician may recommend other rates
of springs for the front forks and rear shock which will be quoted extra for parts and labor.
Front Fork Rebuilding......$90.00*
(most bikes)
Rear Shock Rebuilding....$90.00* (most
bikes)
*(Prices do not include parts, fork
oil, and cost of springs if applicable)
